Our family moved to Mt. Shasta to enjoy the incredible outdoor opportunities and circle of friends the shadow of Shasta offers. The proximity of good fishing continues to amaze us. While our guide service features the McCloud, Upper & Lower Sac and the Klamath Rivers, we often take personal trips to Hat Creek, the Fall River, the Pit River, the Rogue River, the Umpqua, the Williamson, and a host of stillwaters close to home. Craig is a Northern California native and has been chasing trout with a flyrod for over 40 years. He has fished many locations around the west and especially appreciates the angling diversity Mt. Shasta has to offer. Whether it’s presenting tiny dries with cane over selective McCloud Redbands, spey casting streamers for the Klamath’s famous halfpound steelhead, or nymphing the Upper and Lower Sac for trophy Shasta ‘bows, Craig enjoys it all. Most everyone appreciates his patience, angling versatility and local knowledge. He is a FFF certified casting instructor and taught at the Mel Krieger casting school. He holds a Teaching Credential and a Master’s degree from Chico State where he has worked as an Instructor, Administrator and Counselor. Craig has been a featured guide with The Flyshop, Leland, Flywater, Ted Fay, Dunsmuir Flyfishing Co., and Clearwater House.

Jerri has been flyfishing since arriving in the northstate 20 years ago and as a result of numerous requests is guiding “women only”. She is a graduate of the Clearwater Guide School, where she is a featured guide in their women’s clinics. Jerri is a versatile angler and the undisputed stillwater expert in the family. She most enjoys chasing high country cruisers from her float tube. Her easy manner, attentiveness and good humor are appreciated by all. Jerri enjoys motherhood and operates her own Aesthetics business in Mt. Shasta. Her fresh baked cookies (recipes available by request) are famous with family & friends alike.

With the fabled rivers and legendary fish drawing us year round, we still try to find the time to pursue some of the other outdoor passions that Mt. Shasta affords. Jerri is especially fond of x-c skate skiing while Craig enjoys climbing & teleskiing in the backcountry. Our son, Kevin is a climber, boarder, & downhill skier. We all enjoy camping, hiking and whitewater adventures.
