At ShastaTrout we strive to make each trip an enjoyable and fulfilling adventure. We can provide all of your terminal tackle needs, leaders, tippets, split shot, and flies. Our renowned streamside lunches are included as are snacks and beverages during your day on the river. Our fees are $375 per day for one or two anglers on driftboat adventures on the Klamath and Lower Sacramento or walk and wade trips on the McCloud and Upper Sacramento Rivers. A third angler can be added for an additional $100.

You'll want to bring rods and reels suited to the fabled rivers and legendary fish we feature. This most often means a six or seven weight rod with matching floating line on the Lower Sacramento and Klamath Rivers and a four or five weight rod on the McCloud and Upper Sacramento Rivers. We live and fish in the heart of the mountains and temperatures can range from the 30's to the 100's with dramatic weather changes during the course of a day. You’ll be most comfortable in outdoor clothes that you can layer including a rain jacket, lucky hat and sunglasses. Chest waders and felt soled boots are a must on walk and wade trips. If you need equipment we can arrange for you to rent it for a small daily fee. Your license and steelhead card can also be purchased when you arrive. The rivers are exceptionally scenic so you might want to remember the camera too!
