Shasta Trout is a family owned and operated fly fishing guide service based in the beautiful town of Mt. Shasta, California. Ideally situated in the heart of the finest fly fishing for trout and steelhead the Golden State has to offer, our guide service features the legendary rivers of Northern California and the finest local guides. All of our guides are local experts who in most cases spend as much time individually on the rivers they guide as our biggest competitor’s guides spend collectively.

Guided fishing adventures include walk and wade trips in the spectacular canyons of the McCloud River, Pit River, and Upper Sacramento River, along with the fabled spring flows of Hat Creek and Fall River, as well as driftboat floats on the productive tailwaters of the Lower Sacramento River, Trinity River and Klamath River. Our resident fish, the Shasta Rainbows, Klamath Steelhead, McCloud Redband Rainbows and trophy Browns are among the most revered wild fish in the world.
