This fine couple made the pilgramage to the Shadow of Shasta from Southern California where they do not have much in the way of opportunities to chase trout, particularly wild ones. They spent a few days sampling local streams including an awesome day tossing dry flies on the Trinity and a superb day on the Upper Sac. We enjoyed a long drift on the Lower Sac together, managed a brisk north wind landing a few fish and losing a few as well. They are planning their next Shasta Sampler for the near future. We are looking forward to a joyful time chasing big rainbows.
