These are a couple guys with some serious angling skills but are the last to take themselves too seriously. We laughed and joked our way through our day and managed to catch a few fish despite it. Though the bite was nowhere near epic it was consistently good. Often on the Lower Sac the bite waivers as you find pods of fish followed by blank bits but we managed a grab or two in most runs and a few more in others. It never really picked up much as the day went on but then it never slowed all that much either. The good bite helped us suffer the heat well and we thoroughly enjoyed the fishing but more importantly enjoyed the company of others who are passionate about their sport.
