Scott was the winner of our drawing at the Sacramento ISE show and brought his good friend and coworker Ted to try Steelheading on the Klamath. Both of them were looking for their first steelhead. The weather was great and water temps have bumped up to 44 degrees so the fish were active. We missed some opportunities in the morning with some runs producing grabs on each drift. John Rickard launched just ahead of us with a couple guests of ours and started the day with several nice fish. We managed to hook several and land a couple. After lunch we were able to master our drifts and make some good sticks. Scott proceeded to put on a show and we ended the day in double digits. We are looking forward to their return trip soon!
