Nor Cal fly fishing guide, Craig Nielsen presents program to Amador Flyfishers

Craig Nielsen, owner of Shasta Trout and a fly fishing guide based in Mt. Shasta, will be presenting a program called “Fly Fishing in the Shadow of Shasta, the Best of the Best,”  at the monthly meeting of the Amador Fly Fishers at 7 pm on Tuesday, September 19th at the Amador County Administration Building located at 810 Court St., Jackson CA, 95642.  Doors open at 6:00 for a fly tying demonstration on Steelhead flies by Craig and a social hour.

“The Best of the Best” is a multimedia presentation surveying successful techniques, tactics and tips refined on the legendary rivers of Northern California  including the McCloud, Upper & Lower Sacramento, Fall, Trinity, Klamath &  Pit Rivers as well as Hat Creek.  The “The Best of the Best” program is designed for novice and seasoned anglers alike with concepts offered in a light spirited and informative manner. Audience participation is encouraged and expected.   Craig  uses humor and down to earth descriptions to demystify successful strategies and tactics that both increases an angler’s catch as well as their enjoyment of the sport of fly fishing.
