Rates & Services

At Shasta Trout we strive to make each trip an enjoyable and fulfilling adventure. We believe a day of guided fly fishing more than improves your chances of success, it is a long term investment in developing skills as an angler that enhances your enjoyment. Our experienced and friendly local guides are able to reveal hard earned secrets on a particular stream or focus on specific skills that best suit your needs and interests.  We provide all of your terminal tackle needs, leaders, tippets, split shot, floatant and flies, sparing you an embarrassingly large bill at the fly shop checkout counter. Rods and reels can be provided by request.  We have rental wading equipment available as well.  Our renowned stream side lunches are included on full day trips along with beverages and snacks on all outings.  All you’ll need are valid fishing licenses, sunglasses and a favorite hat.

Conservation

We support wild trout and so practice only catch and release angling. We are licensed, insured and bonded for guiding in California and hold the permits required to guide the rivers of the Shasta Trinity & Klamath National Forests as an equal opportunity provider. We contribute generously to our partners that support wild trout and steelhead, including Cal Trout, The Federation of Flyfishers, The Nature Conservancy, and Trout Unlimited.
