Craig was invited by Will Johnson, proprietor of the Ashland Flyshop (and all around great guy) to put on a presentation for the Rogue Flyfishers a club located in Medford, Oregon.   Though just over the border few of the club members fish the Klamath on a regular basis.  The presentation focused on the seasons of the Klamath, the Salmonfly hatch and dry fly fishing in Spring, swinging and nymphing for wild and hatchery run Steelhead and half-pounders in the Fall as well as the wild Steelhead run in Winter.   Craig and the guides of ShastaTrout spend more time on this stretch of the Klamath individually as our biggest competitor’s guides collectively.  Sharing this intimate knowledge with a group of fun and seasoned anglers who willingly share their experiences makes for an informative and fun evening.  We are looking forward to hosting a club outing with these great folks in the near future and hopefully put to practice what we learned.
