Craig enjoyed a few days off from guiding and joined good friend Ross from Redding who makes an annual pilgrimage to the Oregon Coast to swing flies with Spey rods for winter steelhead. Otis, Oregon guide Doug Miller shared his knowledge of the Nestucca and Siletz Rivers with them and both Craig and Ross were able to hook and land chrome winter beauties despite unbelievable weather that included snow falling on the beaches.
