Three fly fishers enter Shasta Trout’s Hawg of Fame

Three anglers enjoyed some spectacular weather during opening week and were treated to some trophy Rainbows that gained them entry into Shasta Trout’s Hawg of Fame. Ron who is new to the sport spent a couple of days on the Lower Sacramento River with his good friends Harry, Bill and Koney landing numerous trophy ‘bows including a big hen. Michael spent a day exploring the Upper Sac with Craig and caught a trophy in the last run of the day.  Ed had never caught a fish on Hat Creek, having fished it on his own about a half dozen days, but landed several on a guided trip with Craig including a Hawg!   The sunny weather remains and the big ‘bows are biting, drop us a line to schedule your date with one!
