Kevin went out to sample the evening hatch on a run close to home and was treated to a hot bite. We’ve both been busy and haven’t gotten out together for a while so it was a real treat. Most of the fish were on the far seam past some fast moving water which required a tricky cast and some challenging mending. A number of fish were hooked and after a fairly prolonged battle in heavy water a very fine fish came to hand. This kid has some game.
